Hi Giuseppe,

I have tried to collect a few documents that, in my mind, best summarize
our present view of the HLT. I have to say that no single document 
addresses "the big picture" -- therefore I have assembled a list of talks, 
documents, and document "fragments" that address *recent* design 
developments. Since you were a reviewer of the HLT, you may also have 
your "favorites"...

(What is missing here, of course, is the report of the HLT review.)

Going through these documents made me realize that we need to push people 
to update -- and in many cases produce for the first time -- the 
"important" documents.
